Environment¶
Admin → Settings → Environment sets the regional behaviour of the workspace: date formats, username display, and login behaviour. Format changes have a live preview, so you can see the result before saving.
Date and time¶
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Date format | How dates are displayed across the application |
User display¶
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Username format | How usernames are displayed |
Login¶
| Setting | Effect |
|---|---|
| Forgot password | Allows users to request a password reset; it needs a working email server |
Case lists¶
The Case lists panel keeps one setting: the date format used in lists. The older options that used to live here — rows per page, refresh interval, hiding process information in a new case — are gone; do not look for them.
Clear the caches¶
Below the case-list panel there is a Clear all caches card.
- Choose Clear.
- Confirm.
The card reports success when it finishes. It is deliberately independent from Save: saving the page does not clear caches, and clearing caches does not change any setting.
Save¶
Choose Save to store the regional settings. The page reports success, and after a reload the values are still there. Dates everywhere else in the application then use the configured format — in user lists, language lists, and document records — instead of a raw database format or UTC.
What this page does not change¶
- It does not change the language; that is Language.
- It does not change colours; that is Themes.
- It does not change the time zone or session lifetime; those are in System configuration.
