Global search¶
Global search is the search box in the DMS top bar. Use it to jump directly to a document without opening the Documents list.
Search¶
- Select the search box in the top bar.
- Type a document name, title, or metadata value.
- Open a result to review it in the document panel.
The search uses the configured search backend. OCR text can be included when OCR is enabled and the document has been processed.
Availability¶
Global search is shown only when you have documento:ver and OCR search is
enabled for the workspace. If the box is missing, use the
Documents list instead.
Permissions¶
Search results respect your document permissions, including sharing rules, restricted repositories, and case-level access.
