Templates and public files

Three process objects are used across a case: Public files hold resources the process serves, Templates hold the documents output documents are built from, and Case tracking defines what the tracking view shows.

Public files

  1. Process objects → Public files → + New file and add an HTML or other resource.
  2. Save it, then download it to check the copy.
  3. Upload the downloaded file again with Upload.

Upload is a text button without an icon. Uploading a second file does not keep the previous file selected, and the dialog shows the full name of the new one.

Templates

Templates hold the content and layout used by output documents.

  • The name column is headed File name.
  • The Actions icons do not overlap each other, even for long names.
  • The HTML editor has a single scrollbar.

Case tracking

Case tracking defines the panels shown in the tracking view of a case.

  • The panels fill the window.
  • The Actions column has a header.
