Table data

View data opens the rows of an active table in a grid. What you can do there depends on the table's classification and on your permissions — not every table is editable.

Open the grid

  1. Open Case Tables → Tables.
  2. On an Active table, choose View data.

Tables that are syncing or in error do not offer their data; see Table states and sync.

Add, edit, and delete rows

  • Insert row opens a form with the table columns. Insert and add another keeps the form open for the next row.
  • Edit a row in place or through its form; the grid shows the new values without a reload.
  • Delete asks for confirmation before removing the row.

The form validates before saving:

Rule Example
Required columns cannot be empty a non-nullable column left blank
Unique columns reject duplicates the same email in two rows
Values must match the column type text in a numeric column

Invalid rows are not saved and no partial row is left behind; the message points at the field that needs fixing.

Find rows

Control What it does
Search all columns Filters rows whose any column contains the term
Column headers Sort ascending and descending
Column filters Filter by value, by number range, or by date
Rows per page Changes the page size; the footer shows which rows you are seeing
Clear Removes the search and the filters and returns the full list

What each classification allows

Classification Rows
Editable Full insert, edit, and delete
Configuration Seed-managed: the rows come from the table's seeds, so editing them directly is not the way to change them
Process Insert, edit, and delete; the system columns (APP_NUMBER, APP_TITLE, CASE_UID) are filled by the process
Analytics Read-only; the consumer service writes the rows
System Managed by the plugin, not from the grid

If Insert row, edit, or delete are missing, the classification or your role does not allow them. See Permissions.

Bulk actions

Select rows with the checkboxes to enable Choose action…:

  • Export downloads a CSV with only the selected rows.
  • Delete asks for confirmation with the number of rows and removes only those.

Import rows

Import CSV loads rows from a file with column mapping, optional skipped columns, and default values. See CSV import.
