Navigation

Lurana BPM opens in the modern shell: a narrow vertical rail on the left, a section sidebar next to it, and a top bar with search, notifications, the case launcher, the theme toggle, and your account menu.

The rail and the section sidebar

The vertical rail on the left, and the sidebar of the current area next to it.

The vertical rail

The rail shows the areas you are allowed to use, in this order:

Icon Area Use it for
Lurana logo — Product mark, no action
Home Your cases and lists
Designer Processes and Case Tables
Dashboard Analytics dashboards
Admin Users, settings, plugins, and integrations

Hovering an icon shows its name. Selecting an area switches the sidebar and the centre panel without reloading the browser, and only the current area stays highlighted.

The rail is filtered by permissions: an area you cannot access is not shown, and opening its address directly is refused. Ask an administrator to review your role if an area you need is missing. See Permissions.

The section sidebar

The sidebar lists the options of the current area — Inbox, Draft, Participated, Process Supervisor, and the process categories under Home, for example.

  • The hamburger button collapses the sidebar to icons only; the centre panel gains the space.
  • Hovering a collapsed icon shows its name.
  • The collapsed or expanded state is remembered after a reload.
  • Expanding again shows the labels, with a short transition.

On a narrow screen the sidebar moves into a drawer and the rail becomes a bottom bar of icons.

The top of the content area shows where you are, for example Home › Cases › Opening a case. Select any part of the path to go back to that level.

Switching to the classic view

The classic interface (horizontal top menu) is still available as a fallback:

  1. Select the bottom button of the rail, View previous version (top menu), or open your account menu and choose Classic interface.
  2. The classic Home opens with the horizontal menu.
  3. To return, choose Modern view from the classic interface.

Switching views does not sign you out.
