Favorites¶
Favorites are the processes you start often. Marking one puts it at the top of the New case dialog and in the quick launcher in the top bar, so you can start a case in one click.
Favorite processes appear at the top of the new-case dialog, and the star marks a process as a favorite.
Mark a process as favorite¶
- Open Home and choose New case.
- Find the process and select its star.
- The process moves to Favorite processes at the top of the dialog, shown as a highlighted card.
The favorites section stays visible while you search, and it stays put while the rest of the list scrolls.
Customize a favorite¶
- On the favorite card, choose Customize.
- Pick a custom name (optional) and a card color; the preview updates as you change them.
- Save. The card shows the custom name and color, plus the process. Without a custom name, it shows the process as the title and the task below it.
The same name and color appear in the quick launcher.
Remove a favorite¶
Select the Remove from favorites (trash) button on the card, or clear the star in the New case list. The card leaves the section, the process returns to the general list with an empty star, and it disappears from the launcher.
The quick launcher¶
The nine-dot button in the top bar opens Frequent cases launcher.
- Each entry shows its name and color, with the process or the current task below it.
- Selecting one creates the case as a draft and opens it in the modern workspace with the first step loaded.
- Escape closes the panel.
- With no favorites, the panel explains how to add them and offers a shortcut to New case.
When a favorite is no longer valid¶
A favorite stops working when the process is deactivated or when you are no longer assigned to its initial task.
Selecting it does not create a case. A message explains the reason (inactive process, missing task, or no assignment), and the favorite is removed from the launcher and from the New case dialog.
