Process Supervisor

Process Supervisor lists the cases you supervise. It is intended for users with supervisory responsibilities, such as team leads or process owners.

Monitor supervised cases

  1. Open Home → Process Supervisor.
  2. Use the search box and column configuration to find a process, case, or task.
  3. Open a case to review its progress and history.

From the case workspace you can review information, notes, documents, and history. Supervisory actions such as reassigning or cancelling a case are shown only when your permissions and the case state allow them.

Supervisor access

This page requires the supervisor permission. If you need access, ask your administrator to review your role.

What the role allows

A supervisor of a process can:

  • see every case of that process, even the ones they were never assigned to and never participated in;
  • act on those cases — reassign, pause, resume or cancel — as far as their permissions allow;
  • delete a completed case, which an operator cannot.

Supervising is not the same as participating: it puts the case in front of you, it does not put the work on you. Acting on a case still depends on the permissions of your role, and the actions the case offers still depend on its state.

Completed cases

A completed case does not appear in the review list unless you search for it by its id, and its content is read-only. If you need to see the forms or documents of a finished case, that comes from a process permission, not from being a supervisor.
